We have talked before about becoming minimalist and how getting all the fancy items from your home helped you escape distraction and unwanted stress. But one thing that I have noticed is that, when I adapted minimalism, I started reading more. Especially books that motivated me to stay on my path of minimalism.

Reading is an escape that can get you out of all the unwanted earthy materials; it helps make life slower, increases concentration, and is a perfect escape from daily life clutter. Books that particularly talk about minimalism can teach us the value of simplicity and temporary disconnect from the world. Research has said that minimalist reading can re-tune your brain.

One of the authors of my favorites who write about minimalism is Raymond Carver, also known as the father of minimalism writing and fiction; his short stories are talked about in What We Talk about Love are talked about because of their impactful purpose. My second favorite is Chunk Phlahniuk; his books like Fight Club use simple language to convey complex and impactful ideas.
